1. What instructions does James give to teachers?

2. Put into your own words what James has to say about the tongue in James 3:6. What specifically does he warn against using our tongues to curse in James 3:9-17.

3. Back in 3:2, James said that the person who can control his tongue is perfect, mature. Why is this so?

1. Do you think a peacemaker avoids conflict at all costs? Does she end the debate by imposing her solution on others? Does she always give in when opposed? Explain your reasoning.

2. After reading about the fruits produced with Heavenly wisdom, what do you think you can do to grow in heavenly wisdom? Be as specific about your plans as possible. Think about your natural strengths and weaknesses. What will make these plans hard to execute? What could make it a little easier?
